Cassia has a sweet, spicy-hot fragrance. It always reminds me of Easter as it is used to give the flavour to Easter biscuits. I find the aroma of Cassia to be warming to body, mind and spirit. It is a physical stimulant and is great for getting the blood circulation going . It brings a lovely warmth to the joints and eases muscular aches and pains and relaxes tight muscles.
Cassia can be used for the digestive system and is particularly effective in cases of diarrhoea and Cassia also helps to combat nausea.
Use Cassia in the bath to help to boost your immunity and protect you against coughs, cold and flu. Try 3 drops of Cassia and 3 drops of Rosemary or Black Pepper to get you off to a good start in the morning and to maintain a healthy immune system!
Cassia will help to keep your mind alert and reduces fatigue.
On a spiritual level Cassia helps us to see the bigger picture.
