Celery Seed is probably most well known for its ability as a detoxifier. I have found celery seed to be invaluable in cases of fluid retention. One of my favourite recipes is 2 drops Celery Seed and 2 drops Cypress and 2 drops Lemon in 10mls (2 teaspoons) carrier oil.Celery Seed is also good oil for digestion. It helps to balance the appetite and it is ideal to use if you have been over- indulging in too much rich food. Excellent as an aid to detoxification.
I have also used Celery Seed in cases of arthritis and rheumatism. It can help to reduce fluid around the joints and alleviate aching
Celery Seed is of use on an emotional level whenever you are going through changes – if you are moving house, starting a new job or a relationship etc.
On a spiritual level Celery helps us to carry out any changes we need to make to enhance our spiritual development.
