Linden Blossom is particularly indicated where there is a need for relaxation. It has one of the most exquisite aromas! It totally transports you into another world.
It calms the mind and instils a deep sense of peace. Linden blossom is excellent for meditative purposes. I find I can go very deep into meditation if I either burn a few drops of Linden Blossom or simply put 1 drop on a cotton wool pad. Frankincense is often recommended for meditation but Linden Blossom is just as perfect.
Linden Blossom is useful for any condition exacerbated by stress. You can put 2 drops Linden Blossom, 2 drops Palmarosa and 2 drops Bergamot in your bath or blend 1 drop of each of these oils in 10mls (2 teaspoons) carrier oil for deep relaxation.
Also put a couple of drops of Linden Blossom on a cotton wool ball and place inside your pillowcase if you have trouble sleeping.The aroma is so exquisite that I sometimes put 3 drops of Linden Blossom in 15mls (3 teaspoons) of carrier oil, store it in an amber bottle and use it as a beautiful perfume.
On a spiritual level Linden Blossom opens you up to the secrets of the universe.
NB This latest Spanish source of Linden Blossom is lighter and much more perfume-like than our previous deeper, more pungent French variety.
