Details
Nerolina is one of the more unusual and rarer essential oils. Obtained from the leaves and small branches from an Australian evergreen tree known as the “Paperbark Tree” it has a very pleasant aroma – fresh, medicinal and yet somewhat sweet.
It is the sweetest and most gentle oil in the Melaleuca family and is suitable for all ages. I recommend it as an overall tonic for health and well-being.
Nerolina is a calming and soothing essential oil prefect for restoring emotional balance and can really help to relieve insomnia and promote a deeper sleep. I recommend combining it with our High-Altitude lavender – add 3 drops of each to a nighttime bath. Add the drops to your oil burner or put the drops onto a cotton wool ball and pop into your pillow.
If you are suffering with anxiety, then put a few drops onto a tissue / handkerchief and keep it in your pocket and inhale throughout the day. The oil will reduce your anxiety whilst at the same time uplift you and keep your mind clear.
Nerolina can also help to ease your aches and pains. It’s perfect after a workout as well as for those who suffer with arthritis and rheumatism due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
A fabulous oil to use as an inhalant for those who suffer with sinusitis and allergies such as hay fever. Do add a few drops of Nerolina essential oil to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and breathe in the wonderful, healing, decongesting aroma.
Nerolina is excellent for all types of skin. It moisturises, softens and balances the skin and can help with skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Nerolina can also be used to improve the appearance of existing scars as well as speeding up the healing of cuts and wounds. Shingles and cold sores will also benefit.
A wonderful oil for promoting hair growth, Nerolina ia also a gentle and effective oil for fighting head lice. Why not add a few drops to your children’s shampoos?
