Rosemary oil is the great restorer! It awakens the brain, improves the memory and greatly improves energy levels.

A marvellous oil to use in your bath/shower first thing in the morning. Use on its own or with Lemongrass which is another energising oil.

Rosemary is an effective oil for boosting the circulation and relieving congestion in the lymphatic system. Use Rosemary with Ginger to boost the circulation. It is a tonic for the heart and can be helpful for those with high cholesterol combined with dietary changes

Rosemary offers pain relief for the muscles and joints and is excellent for stiff overworked muscles. It is also recommended after injury for rehabilitation and can assist in restoring muscle tone. Try 1 drop Rosemary, 1 drop Black Pepper and 1 drop Frankincense in 10mls (2 teaspoons) carrier oil.

Rosemary is helpful too for the respiratory system and is indicated for coughs and colds, flu and catarrh. Use it in a burner with Ravensara and Cajeput or Eucalyptus to clear the chest and head.

Rosemary is valuable for digestive problems whenever detoxification is required. I recommend Rosemary for constipation. Try 1 drop Rosemary, 1 drop Marjoram and 1 drop Black Pepper for constipation.

Rosemary is traditionally used in shampoos and other hair care products. Add Rosemary to shampoo to encourage hair growth – particularly dark hair.

Rosemary is renowned for its ability to stimulate the senses. It has the ability to stimulate the brain and may help to improve memory. Burn Rosemary whilst you are studying either on its own or with Basil.

On a spiritual level Rosemary will protect the spirit.
