History: The stones have been used in the Far East for hundreds of years as a body and foot odour prophylactic.

Make up: the make up is 100% pure and natural. The stones are made from potassium sulphate and mineral salts. The mineral salts are taken from natural mineral springs and crystallised over a period of months. They are then cut, shaped and smoothed to the finished product. Mineral salts of: ammonium, barium, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium, silicon and titanium. The stones do not contain petroleum, emulsifier’s alcohol, perfumes or any harmful chemicals or propellants. There is no aluminium chloride, which is in many other deodorants and which is under research as being one of the causes of Alzheimer’s disease, lymphatic congestion, and some cancers.

How they work: They do not stop perspiration by clogging pores or cover over odours with perfume. Rather they attack the cause of the problem, which are the bacteria that cause the odours. When applied they leave a thin layer of mineral salts on the skin which cannot be felt or seen. The combination of mineral salts has the fairly unique property of preventing bacteria growing, and due to the large molecular structure there is no absorption into the skin. They leave no toxic residue or by-products. They are hypoallergenic and will not irritate sensitive skin.

How to use: simply wet the stone under the water tap and apply like you would a roll on. Let the stone dry before putting away. Do not leave the stone in water, as it would eventually dissolve. If dropped on a hard surface the stone may break. The stones are not sticky or greasy and will not stain clothing. Used normally this stone should last from six months to a year.
