Lemon Tea Tree is an excellent natural insect repellent – and personally I prefer its lighter aroma to lemongrass or citronella.

Use it on its own or with cedarwood. I love to use essential oils when cleaning – a few drops of lemon tea tree makes mopping a floor much more pleasurable and the room smells so amazing and fresh afterwards.

Lemon Tea Tree is also recommended in an oil burner to prevent the spread of infection and it also gives a boost to the immune system. On a spiritual level Lemon Tea Tree accelerates our progress along our pathways and helps us to stay true to ourselves. There is much more to this essential oil than meets the eye and I am surprised it is not more widely used in aromatherapy. It does share quite a few similar properties with its relative Tea Tree and I love its less medical scent.
